closed mouth during sleep

I have a nasal mask with my CPAP machine. However, I cant,t manage to close my mouth all the time I am sleeping. I find a full mask intolerable. I have even tried taping my mouth with "5M" tape. All to no avail . Do anyone have any suggestion or advice?
